Katrina Michelle Pschigoda

Katrina M. Pschigoda, 35, of Buchanan, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31 Berrien Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, who will make a donation in Katrina’s name to a narcotics and alcohol abuse organization. Those wishing to share a memory of Katrina may do so online at www.heritage-chapel.com. Katrina was born May 7, 1979 in Benton Harbor, MI to William “Bill” & Rebecca “Becky” (White) Pschigoda. She was a 1997 graduate of Berrien Springs High School. She attended Lake Michigan College where she received her Associates degree in general arts. Katrina hoped one day to be an elementary school teacher. She loved crafts of all kinds,  especially making scrapbooks and her own cards. In her spare time she played the piano and viola. Katrina enjoyed taking trips with her parents to Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island. She is survived by her parents Bill & Becky Pschigoda of Berrien Center; brother Brad Pschigoda of Berrien Center; sister Sara Pschigoda of Minneapolis, MN; and 7 year old niece Madilyn. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
