Frances C. Dewey

Frances C. Dewey, 77, of Niles, MI passed away Sunday, June 08, 2014 at her home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 4071 Naomi Rd. Sodus, MI with Rev. George Fleming officiating.  Burial to follow at Shanghai Cemetery in Eau Claire, MI. Friends may visit from 11 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the church. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. On June 23, 1956 she married Vincent Dewey at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Sodus. Frances worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, IN where she retired in 1999 and as on out-patient service representative at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, MI retiring in 2006.  She is survived by her children Lori (Steve) Fox of Dowagiac, Linda (Kevin) Kohman of South Bend, and Leslie (Loren) Roth of South Bend; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Vincent on February 16, 1984 and son Larry Dewey on December 28, 2013. Frances will be remembered as a loving mother, wife and loyal friend.
