Rosalie (Rose) May Upson, 76, of Berrien Springs, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2015, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday May 20th at 2:00 PM at Heritage Chapel in Berrien Springs, MI. In honor of Rose, memorials may be made to her family C/O Donald Upson. Those wishing to sign Rosalie’s Memory Book online may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com.
Rose was born April 4, 1939 in Niles, MI to Glenn & Hazel (Gould) Teeter. She graduated from Niles High School. On July 15, 1960 she married William (Bud) Upson in Niles. Rose enjoyed baking and loved to spend time with her family.
Rose is survived by her husband of 54 years Bud Upson, son Donald (Lorrie) Upson and two grandchildren Jonathan & Maggie Upson of Eau Claire, MI. She is also survived by her siblings: Jack (Carol) Teeter, Sam (Jan) Teeter and Lolli Estel of Niles; her sister-in law Alice Teeter and many nieces & nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Teeter; and brother-in-law, Norman Estel.
