Consorcia Santiago Edween

Connie Santiago Edween, 79, of Berrien Springs, MI passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Michiana Fil-Am SDA Church, 8454 Kephart Lane, Berrien Springs MI 49103.  Friends may pay respects during the visitation hour beginning at 3:30 PM followed by the service at 4:30 PM, officiated by Pastor Roy Castelbuono.  Memorial contributions can be made to Michiana Fil-Am SDA Church for the Seminary Student Fund. Connie was born on June 22, 1935 to Marciano and Maria (Bautista) Santiago, Sr. in San Jose Occidental Mindoro in the Philippines.  She married Danny Edween on August 26, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA. Connie worked many years as a Registered Nurse at the 97th General Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. She dedicated her life to service within the Seventh-day Adventist church, working beside her husband in doing evangelistic work in Ukraine, Romania, Poland and Hungary as well as in the Philippines and was an active member of Michiana Fil-AM SDA Church in her retirement years. She is survived by her daughters, Lyn (Rolen) Dobson of Valdosta, GA, Susan (Mark-Erik) DiBiase of Coeur d’Alene, ID, and Julie (Tim) Cronenweth of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Lauren (Deandre) Robinson, John Anthony, Ryan and Janelle Dobson, Natasha and Dante Dibiase, Sable and Challais Cronenweth; siblings, Norma Fuentes, Marciano (Selfa) Santiago, Jr., Leydenila Miller, Reynitha, Eden, Ceasar (Letty) Santiago. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Josefina Fernandez, Sarah Adriano, and Harry Santiago.
