Eugene's Obituary

Eugene Kublick, 74, of Eau Claire, passed away on July 12, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Chapel in Berrien Springs.   A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Bright Star Tabernacle, 5130 Pipestone Rd., Eau Claire with Pastor Mike Fields officiating.  Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice at Home.  Those wishing to share a memory of Eugene online may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com  Eugene was born August 20, 1940 in Benton Harbor to Reinhold and Leota (Day) Kublick. He married Katherine Janette Wiggins on May 19, 1962.  Eugene was a talented machinist and fabricator working with Judy’s City Service in Benton Harbor, Auto Specialties and later Michigan Tube for over 52 years.  He was also a proud member of the International Association of Machinists and the National Rifle Association.  Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, riding motorcycles and spending time with family, friends and grandchildren.   He is survived by his wife, Janette, daughters; Pam Kublick of St. Joseph, Loretta Kublick of Eau Claire, Sherry Kublick of Sleepy Hollow, IL, son; Ryan (Michelle) Kublick of Sodus; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters; Shirley (Donald) Schram of Berrien Center, Nancy (Paul) Kizer of Ann Arbor, brother; Ron Kublick of Eau Claire and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
