Sharon Ann Bennett

Sharon Ann (Chaddock) Bennett, 71, of Berrien Springs; passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015, at home with her family around her. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, at Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31, Berrien Spring, with Rev. Dr. Chris Noffke officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sharon was born November 23, 1943 in Benton Harbor to Glenn and Marie (Fuller) Chaddock.  She worked at Chaddock Insurance Agency with her father, at the Berrien Springs Police Department, and as a manager at Subway in Berrien Springs for 13 years. She also volunteered at the Berrien Springs Youth Fair. Sharon enjoyed knitting blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a big NASCAR fan, her favorite was Jr. 88. She loved camping with the whole family and bargain hunting at garage sales and flea markets. She also looked forward to going to Florida in the winter time. Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years, John B. Bennett; daughters, Karen (Chris) Cobb of Vassar, MI, Valerie Pultz, Amy (Terry) Tefs, and Christiane Bennett of Berrien Springs; grandchildren, Shannon (Eric) Wharton of Buchanan, Christopher (Amanda) Knuth of Sawyer, Thomas (April) McClain of Berrien Springs, Meagan (Tony) Mottweiler of Hawaii, Ashley Tefs of Buchanan, and Piper Bennett of Berrien Springs; great-grandchildren Audrey, Anthony Jr., Austin, Layla, Jazmine, Asia, and Makala; brother, John (Maggie) Chaddock of St. Joseph; and special friends, Rich Knuth, Al Edmonds, Eddie and Virginia Watson, and Don and Marge Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents and sons-in-law Wayne Knuth and Joe Pultz.
