MaryLou Rohwedder

MaryLou Rohwedder, 74, of Niles, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Lakeland Medical Center. A Celebration of Life visitation will take place on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Heritage Chapel & Cremation Services, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs, from 5PM until 7PM. MaryLou was born on December 14, 1943, to Carl & Mary (Smith) Callaway in Jeffersonville, IN. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School and attended Lake Michigan College. On February 23, 1963, she married Michael Rohwedder at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph. She worked for the Clark Corp. for over ten years in their customer’s service department. Most recently, she enjoyed working in the cafeteria at Mars Elementary School. MaryLou enjoyed watching cooking shows and spending her time having picnics with her family. MaryLou is survived by her Husband of 55 years Michael Rohwedder; children, Missie (Brian) Hoffman of Eau Claire and Michelle (Randy) Kieszkowski of Berrien Springs; grandchildren, Cody, Alex, Christopher and Casey; and sister Sandy Sech of St. Joseph. MaryLou was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Mary Callaway; sister Judy Coffeen; and niece Candice Sech.
