June Carol (Harbin) Copeland, 81, of Benton Harbor, MI peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Full Gospel Assembly Family Worship Center, 4640 East Snow Rd., in Berrien Springs at 11 A.M. with Pastor Starley Baker officiating. June was born on July 4, 1937, in Blytheville, AR to Philip, Sr. and Minnie (Jones) Harbin. She enjoyed working with her hands doing needle point, crocheting, knitting and sewing and watching “Hee-Haw” on television. June was a very dedicated mother and took great pride in being a stay-at-home mother to her eight children.   More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She was Baptist-Pentecostal and an incredible hardworking woman who will be missed dearly by all who knew her. June is survived by her daughters, Robin (Kenneth) Tollor of Benton Harbor, Donna Ames, Nancy Rittenberry and Corrina Copeland all of Tennessee and Catherine Copeland of Oregon; sons, Kenneth Copeland of Oregan and Carl (Maggie – fiancé) Copeland of Missouri; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and brother, Philip A. Harbin, Jr. of Klamath Falls, Oregon. June was preceded in death by her parents; devoted companion, Lloyd G. Evans; son, Gordon Copeland and 6 siblings.
