Bob's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Koblinski, 80, of South Haven, passed away December 3, 2022, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Born on October 31, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan to Joseph and Metilda Koblinski. United in marriage to Gloria May Morris on February 17, 1969.
Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria, and daughters; Christine (John Marr) Morris, Zeneta (Junior) Esquivel, Zelynda Taylor, grandchildren; Vance “Skid” Moudy II, Abby May (Jason) Ferguson, Jonathan Barber, Issac Smith, Emelia Esquivel, Tino Miller and great grandson Clay Edward Moudy. Also survived by siblings; Francis Thompson, Arnold Thompson and Joseph Koblinski.
Preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Pat (Erwin) Watson, Helen Branch and Walter Koblinski.
Bob proudly served his country in Germany with the U.S. Army. He met and married his wife Gloria and they had three daughters. Bob worked for Bohn Aluminum for 31 years, after leaving Bohn he went to work at and retired from Walmart. Bob was a family man, a faithful man of God who loved drawing and spending time with his grandkids. An outdoorsman he could be found out in the woods, camping, fishing and learning about nature.
Visitation for Bob will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S. Bailey Avenue, South Haven, Michigan, 49090, from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Pastor Ricky Bray of Christ Gospel Church will officiate. Bob will be laid to rest at Stephenson Cemetery. Military Honors will be acccorded to Bob by the U.S. Army and the American Legion Post 49.
